Summary

RD Microelectronics is a microelectronics manufactory.

We conduct research and development in microelectronics, optoelectronics, electronics and information technology.
We produce electronic devices for consumer electronics, automotive industry, wireless, devices for satellite, sport analyze system, instruments, fiber to the home networking, and for military surveillance and navigation systems.

 Consulting, for our customers and our partners we design and make layout of CMOS integrated circuits (IC) in SOI and bulk technologies by using Cadence Virtuoso and Mentor Graphics tools.   We simulate analog and digital circuits with Hspice and Pspice tools. We develop ASIC by using VHDL and Verilog XL tools.  We make schematic and PCB layout with Allegro Design Entry, PADS and Eagle tools. 

 Embedded systems, we develop micro-controller based electronic systems on PCB cards and we program micro-controllers with C language (Firmware), such as dsPIC and STR71x of ST Microelectronics. 

 Programming, we automate precision probe stations and instruments for frontend (Wafer level) with C and Visual Basic languages, such as PC station as a host connected with GPIB to the wafer probe station and oscilloscope and pulse generators and switch-matrix. 

 Software, we produce and license low-cost software for semiconductor technology. Our software, MET, is a parameter extraction tool for MOS transistor characterization on PC station (and not Unix). BSIM3 and BSIM4 are the engines of MET, and we include to MET routines for MOS transistors and parasitic capacitances measurement.
