Network operating system

The network operating system NOS_1 is developed for local and specific networks and for transport industry.   Trucks, trains, and navies need to be connected to their central operators for coordination and direction.

Our network operating system, in a size of a standard auto radio, can be mounted in any wagon. It contains 2.2 " TFT display, keyboard, 144 pins micro-controller STR71x, and tone generator.
NOS_1 is developed in two devices that are connected together. One device, which is the radio transducer (a PCB), comes from TETRA and can be hidden inside the wagon. The second device, we develop here, is the one the user manipulates, as shown in the figure. 

NOS_1 gets messages from the radio and displays them in text. Message can be tapped with the keyboard, then sent over by activating the transmission function of the key "T". Voice can be heard in and transmitted out to the central through NOS_1.
Special keys are also integrated, such as NOT for emergency call, others are programmable.
